Friday night is never complete without a little dose of wackiness. Once in a while, we need to indulge ourselves with activities we seldom do. The goal is to make exciting stories for Monday! Besides stressing our head all week, in my opinion, we must splurge ourselves with alcohol, dancing, singing, and chilling with great company (only works for the nocturnal). Nothing beats the fun together with the guys or loved ones. We all prepare for Friday night but oftentimes we just accept spontaneous invites since we have nothing much to do lol. Anyways, I opted to sing my night out together with my girlfriend. I’ve been stressed for the whole week at work so I intend to relieve stress by singing.
We went at a place called Celebrity Lounge last September 6, 2019. It’s a typical KTV Restobar complete with full meal choices, side dishes, appetizers and alcohol. The amenities and rooms are above average at best. It’s also easy to find since it’s located at Shaw Boulevard.

Room Rates:
Room rates are reasonable, it’s not those posh KTV Bars with ridiculously high rates.
- 2 Person = 200PHP / Hour
- 6 Person = 400PHP / Hour
- 8 Person = 480PHP / Hour
- 10 Person = 600PHP / Hour
- 15 Person = 800PHP / Hour
- 30 Person = 1500PHP / Hour
- 60 Person = 2500PHP / Hour
Room:
Our room is good for two to three persons only based on my evaluation. A good room must be sufficient for a three person group enjoying a performance night, at least for me. Its clear space should be enough for all persons to have the luxury of space to sing, dance and move around like a drunk guy, but seriously we all want a spacious room if we’re having a blast. The crew would recommend using the two person room if you are a group of four or five as it is cheaper. Don’t consider but rather opt for the six person room to have a sufficient space for a wild performance night!
The room is above average but obviously not high quality. It’s your typical KTV room. They offer two microphone as well which is a must for KTV places. Overall, the room is cozy and worth it for 200PHP / Hour.
Songs:
Song choices are terrible. There should be a law requiring KTV places with the latest hit songs of the year and from the previous year, I kid of course. But seriously, their most latest song is around the year 2012. As a pop song enthusiast, I want to sing the latest pop songs. No one wants to sing sad old songs right? Unless we’re consoling our brokenhearted friends which happens a lot actually lol. But since we’re already there, we just enjoyed the place and have fun with what we have.
Ambiance:
The layout of the place is straightforward. The lobby is located at the entrance door which consists the reception, bar and living room. There are two hallways from the lobby that leads to the rooms.
The overall vibe of the place is appreciable especially at the bar. Their interiors are well designed and well lit. It gives a certain vibe— a vibe which makes you want to party hard. They also have a living room like place in the bar which includes a sofa and a tv but is lit like a typical night life bar. Moreover, they also have disco lights which is a nice touch. The bar is a great place to hang out after singing your lungs out.
Recap:
The place is your typical KTV Restobar with a reasonable price. Will I come back? Maybe, if I have no other choice. Their song choices is a major turn off for me. I would recommend trying other KTVs, perhaps Music 21 at Timog, QC.
